Meet with us

Meetis was founded in 2010 by Effie Pangeiou in Athens and is now based in London. Effie has a degree in Business Management and Marketing, and 20 years of professional experience in Client Service in the Advertising Industry. Effie has also worked as Project Manager in EU-funded Scientific research and training networks and has accrued significant experience in scientific project management and event organisation and coordination.

Meetis has organised several Scientific meetings in Greece and has developed an extensive network of collaborators in the hospitality industry and in conference services that can support the organisation of Scientific events in Greece. The activities of Meetis are also supported by Senior Scientists and Academics acting as consultants.

The name Meetis is inspired by Metis, a goddess of wisdom and knowledge in classical Greek mythology and the word “meeting”.
