It was a pleasure to work together with Effie for the organisation of the EMBO Workshop "Cell death in immunity and inflammation" held in October 2019 in Crete, Greece. Effie helped us find an excellent location and facilitated all local arrangements for a fantastic event. Her competence, experience and attention to detail greatly contributed to the successful organisation of our conference.

I had the opportunity to attend to an International Scientific Meeting, which took place in Crete (Greece) in 2018, and that was organized by Ms. Effie Pangeiou The chosen venue was very appropriate, as it facilitated the scientific discussions and networking, in a very comfortable, relaxing and idilic location. But certainly, the most special thing about it (beyond science), is that the organization committee, led by Effie, made sure we all felt part of a family during the meeting, because they offered a customized attention and cared for all the details that make such an event special.

Meetis Scientific Conferences and Workshops did a fantastic job in organizing our EMBO/FEB workshops on Chromatin Proteomics. All aspects of the meeting from picking the venue to organising all payments after it were extremely well planned and made the organisation of the conference seem so effortless. I very much appreciated your services and look forward to working with you again in the future.

The great organization by Meetis made it extremely easy for me to attend and enjoy two excellent scientific meetings -FEBS 2023 Advanced Course and IUBMB Focused Meeting 2023- in the pleasant environment of Crete. For the next conference/meeting that I will organize, I definitely now know whom I will approach for the organization.

I had the opportunity to work with Meetis and Effie in the organization of several scientific meetings and workshops in Greece (in Athens, Kos and Crete). We worked together with Effie for the implementation of the management activities of the MSCA-ITN Network accounting 11 European research and academic entities. Effie was involved in the management activities as well as the organization and coordination of multiple meetings and activities in different European countries. I was impressed with Effie’s professionalism and efficient way of handling any issues concerning the organization and implementation of research and academic meetings and workshops.
